PERSONAL STUFF: My most favorite things in the world are being married to my TOTAL BESTIE, Phil, and being a mom to my two amazing kids, Phynley and Eden. I love doing things I’m passionate about: restoring old, broken things (houses and furniture mainly) and seeing them come to life, juicing, eating veggies, watching compelling documentaries, hanging out with people on my front porch, having coffee with friends (esp my kid’s friends), dreaming about inventing something massively impactful for the world someday, and (if you’ve ever met me, you’ll know) I am super excited about God!

CO-FOUNDER/PRODUCER/DIRECTOR: (2015-PRESENT)

OFF THE SQUARE THEATRE COMPANY is a super unique, Christ-centered, STUDENT RUN theatre company in Franklin, TN, made up of amazing students who are committed to excellence in all areas of the arts - from onstage performance to costume creation, set design and construction, graphic design, marketing and sales, and everything else in between. 

Coached by parents and mentored by professionals in the industry, these students are being given the opportunity to spread their wings and learn to lead, create, design, and work as a team to ultimately produce their own musical theater production. 

In 2010, I wrote a children’s chapter book for my kids called Franklin Towne with the dream of having it published and made into a feature film one day. In 2015, I talked my abundantly talented BFF (writer/director/actor), Kenda Benward, into turning the book into a screen play. Kenda took the original story, threw in some new characters, added some fantastic plot twists, and wa-lah - a delightful film for the whole family!
